My Story

Akshra Yagnik is a talented young singer and songwriter who has been actively performing her art for over a decade. With a diverse repertoire spanning multiple genres, Akshra mesmerizes her audiences with her powerful vocals and soulful lyrics. She also plays the piano and the guitar.

Her musical journey began at a young age, where she discovered her passion for music and honed her skills through years of formal training, dedication and hard work. Today, she stands as a young performer known for her unique style and captivating performances.

Whether it's an intimate acoustic set or a high-energy concert, Akshra's performances are always filled with emotion and passion. Her ability to connect with her audience on a personal level is what sets her apart, creating truly unforgettable experiences.

Akshra has been extremely fortunate to get formal musical training from great teachers who helped her discover and extend her talent.

    Akshra learned classic Indian music with Purnash Sir for many years. Purnash is a very well-known stage performer and music practitioner and producer.. Akshra continues to reach out to him for timely and useful advice during her various performances.

  • Yen Lee

    Akshra learned to play the piano and classical guitar with Yan Lee during her formative years.

Influences

  • Adele

    Adele’s singing was Akshra’s first musical love. Akshra has been singing Adele since 2015 when ‘Hello’ was released.

  • Taylor Swift

    Akshra is a self-proclaimed “Swiftie” (but then who isn’t?  😍.) Akshra admires Taylor’s discipline, energy, and prolific musical catalog.

  • Aretha Franklin

    Akshra loves performing Aretha Franklin songs. She rejoices in the raw energy that her vocals bring.

  • Pearl Jam

    Akshra’s introduction to Rock music was via the powerful vocals of Eddie Vedder. She has always enjoyed the band’s beautiful music.
